What patrons get by pre-ordering The Kindness Experiment

Here's how the numbers look:
Price
of 1 unit:
$20 Jan. 1, 2010 to August 30,
2010 (sponsorship closes)
Price
of book when available for sale: January 2011:
$40 or more
If you ordered the book before May 30, 2010 - or I gave you
a copy - for $20, you will still get the book and you will
receive a share of the profits from the book. Nobody else
wil,l because apparently the SEC says this is illegal.
However, a promise is a promise and I keep my promises. So
the ten of you are the only ones who will share some
profits of the book, in the same proportion as before.
One
Unit entitles each Patron to:
- Copy of the book (all parts) in digital format.
- Name on my web site as a Patron.
- Name in book as a Patron (with web site URL)
- Invitation to suggest charities to receive 10% of profits.
Responsibilities of Andrea Reynolds,
Author-Publisher-Promoter:
- Complete the book on time: end-December 2010.
- Promote the book for a minimum of 12 months after book completed.
- Handle all order fulfillment.
- Appear at press and media interviews.
- Appear at speaking engagements where invited.
- Write and distribute weekly reports for patrons and sponsors (Fridays).
- Disburse profits monthly (end of month) until December 31, 2011, unless it makes sense to extend the end date.
Responsibilities of Patrons:
- Don't share contents of book without permission... I need all the sales I can get.
- Encourage sales to friends, co-workers, etc.; but no spamming, please.
- Don't constantly ask me how the book is coming along or how your investment is doing: I'll send or post a report every Friday.
- Don't ask me to buy your services, because I'm on a tight budget and extra expenses aren't possible.
- Don't ask if we can barter services because I need income more than anything else.
- Don't ask me to send you money; I'll just ignore your request... and probably write about your audacity.
- Don't invite me to lunch, dinner, or parties to meet your friends and colleagues during the writing process. I'm working to a tight deadline and socializing will delay the completion of the book.
- Do invite me to speak to your organization's conference as a keynote speaker (paid) when the book is finished.
