Bi-racial. Despite red hair and green eyes, she is part Filipina (her mother's side).
Colleges. She has attended Hiram College, Kent State University, Edinboro State University, Ryerson University, University of Toronto (Faculty of Ed.), Oxford University (St. Annes), Saltley College (Birmingham), Fashion Institute of Technology.
Northfield Girl. Remembers retreat at Westminster College in 1966.
Camp Caledon. Was both a camper and camp counselor.
Bones. Survived a broken neck (C-6) at Oxford University, England, July 12, 1971. Also broke an ankle, skiing, when a boyfriend showed her how to snowplow, but not stop, on her first-ever run; and a toe, walking barefoot at home.
Kent State. Survived the shooting by National Guard on campus, May 4, 1970.
Education: Graduated from university without any scholarships or student loans.
Football: Had two superbowl rings on her hand on the same night she met basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain.
Honors: Listed in "Who's Who in Toronto". Listed in "Who's Who in Canadian Women".
Brushes with greatness. Has had momentary encounters with Dan Ackroyd, Howie Mandel, Henry Mancini, Sir David Frost, and 60+ more, etc. Lived in an apartment where Phil Collins used to stay. Stayed in a home where Peter O'Toole once lived.
Pranks: Was the target of teasing and pranks played by Vincent Price, Keith Richards (Rolling Stones), Al Lewis (Grandpa Munster), Peter Coyote, Christopher Plummer.
Tall structures. Climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Climbed to the top of the CN Tower. Climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty.
Most memorable site: La Recoleta in Buenos Aires, where Evita Peron was laid to rest.
Scariest client: A former hit man wanted her to transcribe tapes and edit his memoirs. She had the foresight to realize that she would know his identity and upon completion of the assignment would likely be his next victim. She wisely turned him down and lives to talk about it.
Proposals: By a Lord in England who would have made her a baroness had she accepted, and by Monty Hall's nephew.
Marriage: Just once, briefly, to a Brit whose father lived in the same flats in England as Lady Diana before she married Charles. No kids.
Cats. Had multiple cats. None remain. The last one, Casper, died Nov. 20, 2010, at the age of 14.5 years.
