is? Free room and board in exchange for 90 hours per month
- that's 3 hours per day - of cooking and light
housekeeping - while you get back on your feet financially.
I'm willing to offer free room and board in my St.
Catharines condominium in exchange for about 90 hours of
light housekeeping a month - cooking, grocery shopping,
vacuuming, dusting, laundry - which equates to about 3
hours a day.
This offer will help someone in need.
Andrea has an extra, furnished bedroom that a woman in
financial difficulty might appreciate as an interim measure
until she can become self-sufficient.
LOCATION:
- St. Catharines,
Ontario, in the heart of wine country
- 15-30 minutes from US/ New York State
border
- 30 minutes from Hamilton
Ontario
- 60 minutes from Toronto Ontario
THE
BUILDING:
- 5 minute walk from Fairview Mall (many
stores, fast food, cinema, etc.)
- Very quiet, mostly an adult building,
but with some university students and
young couples
- Outdoor pool
(seasonal)
- Laundry facilities
- Bicycle storage room
- Hot tub and sauna
(seasonal)
- Free outdoor parking for residents and
guests
- Many units are owned by residents which
means good upkeep
- Front entrance intercom connected to
phone

cable are included.
- Remodelled 4 piece bath

- 4 Ceiling fans: one in each bedroom and
1 in dining room
- Living/ dining has
broadloom
- Lots of books: nonfiction, self-help,
and how-to
- Shared phone
- Basic cable TV (Toronto, Hamilton and
Buffalo stations)
THE
ROOM:
- One twin bed
(Ikea)
- Furnished (mostly
Ikea)
- Vinyl flooring - looks like
wood.
- Window air
conditioner provided, if needed
- Large window facing
street
- Window blinds and curtains provided
MEALS:
- 3 meals a
day
- Healthy meals
- No junk food
CONDITIONS:
- Must like cats and
treat them lovingly.
- No loud music (Andrea needs quiet to
work).
- No alcohol, chemical, gambling, sex
addiction.
- No smoking,
recreational drug use or excessive
drinking.
- No loud parties; quiet formal dinner
parties are fine.
- No verbal or physical abuse will be
tolerated.
- No running up of long distance
charges.
- No criminal record
- No criminal activities
HOUSEHOLD DUTIES:
- Cooking
- Dish washing
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Feeding cats
- Grocery shopping
- Laundry
- Watering plants
- Anything else that is
agreed upon: sewing, painting, household repairs,
etc.

Note: You must be able to get here on your own steam at
your own expense. Also you must be able legally to cross
the border into Canada if you don't reside in Canada. If
you don't have Canadian citizenship or Canadian Permanent
Resident Status you will not be able to accept employment
in Canada.
