12 Rules to help you avoid mini-crises
These 12 tips will help you stay out of
soooo much trouble. I
didn't write them and I'd be grateful to know who did so I
can credit him or her here.
1. If you open it,
close it.
2. If you turn it on,
turn it off.
3. If you unlock it,
lock it.
4. If you break it,
repair it.
5. If you can't fix it,
call someone who can.
6. If you borrow it,
return it.
7. If you use it, take
care of it.
8. If you make a mess,
clean it up.
9. If you move it, put
it back.
10. If you want to use
it and it belongs to someone else, get permission first.
11. If you don't know
how to operate it, leave it alone.
12. If it doesn't
concern you, mind your own business.
These
four additional ones are mine:
13. If you can't prove
a statement is true, don't repeat it.
14. If you can't keep a
secret, say so...before someone tells you the secret.
15. If you make a
promise, keep it.
16. If you mistreat a
journalist, expect to read about it.
